synopsis: Forced underground by the callous forces of the Central Authority of Galactic Administration, you manage an illegal scavenging operation among the rubble of the countless planets they have destroyed in their latest exorbitant construction project.
development: under active development
play now: play the latest Project Scavenger early-development build, updated whenever I add something interesting enough.
(I am not an artist, and will likely enlist the help of one as the project progresses)
Concept: space rest stop, disguising the black-market trading hub
Concept: main gameplay. A single ship is exploring in the top-left, several ships are scavenging from resource stockpiles near the bottom, and another ship is being issued a command to search in the top-right.
Concept: secret warehouse, hidden within the asteroid on which the rest stop sits. Aliens have no information about the goods from most of the ruined worlds from which they scavenge, so have to make a fairly uneducated guess at the purpose of items they find. Workers are expanding the storage space, and the player is about to issue a command to expand even more.
Development Begins! This session was just about getting some basic elements in place, in preparation for a whole lot of scripting in the next session.
A little more setup – a few asteroids on which to put resource stockpiles (and to brighten up the place).
